Position fuel tank (4) and two straps (3) on frame as- sembly (1) and tighten two nuts (2). Install  throttle  control  (see  paragraph  7-7). Install fuel line (see paragraph 7-6). Connect  spark  plug  (see  paragraph  2-9). Fill fuel tank (see paragraph 2-10). 7-6.   FUEL   LINE   REPLACEMENT. TOOLS: General mechanic’s tool kit . . . . . . . Failure to fol- low this warning may cause a fire and explo- sion, resulting In serious Injury or death to personnel. DO NOT breathe fuel fumes. They are toxic and can cause serious medical problems. Failure to follow this warning may result In serious Injury or death to personnel. Give IMMEDIATE medical attention to per- sonnel exposed to hydrocarbon or toxic va- pors.   Signs   of   distress   are   weakness, nausea,   coughing   or   intoxication,   nose- bleed  or  cramps,  or  other  unusual  symp- toms. Qualified personnel able to administer artificial respiration and simple first aid must be  present. NOTE Refer to Appendix F for instructions on man- ufacturing fuel lines. The VR11C and VR11 fuel lines are replaced the same way. VR11C is illustrated. REMOVAL a. b. c. d. line from carburetor (1) and fuel filter (4). INSTALLATION Disconnect  spark  plug  (see  paragraph  2-9). NOTE Refer to Figure 7-8, Fuel Line Replacement, for steps b through d. Close fuel valve (7). NOTE A suitable container should be used to catch any draining fuel. Ensure that all spills are prop- erly cleaned. Slide   two   clamps   (5)   on   fuel   line   (6)   and   remove   fuel   - line from fuel valve (7) and fuel filter (4). NOTE A suitable container should be used to catch any draining fuel.
