2 0 2 . D E S C R I P T I O N
The transmission main housing is a cast
a l u m i n u m a l l o y h o u s i n g . I t h o u s e s a n d s u p-
ports the range gearing, range clutches, left-
s t e e r p l a n e t a r y c a r r i e r , b r a k e , s t e e r c l u t ch
and output clutch assemblies. The main hous-
ing also serves as the oil sump for the trans-
m i s s i o n.

a . Remove two hook-type seal rings from
the hub of the diaphragm (fig. 232).
b . Remove the thrust washer (fig. 232).
c. R e m o v e t w o p r e f o r m e d p a c k i n g s f r om
the transmission housing (fig. 232).

washers that retain the accumulator body. Re-
