TM   9-2520-272-34&P 2-4    MALFUNCTION, (Continued TEST   OR   INSPECTION,   AND   CORRECTIVE   ACTION   PROCEDURES MALFUNCTION TEST   OR   INSPECTION CORRECTIVE    ACTION 3. VEHICLE   DOES   NOT   MOVE   FORWARD   IN   ANY   SHIFT   LEVER   FORWARD   POSITION, NORMAL   OPERATION   IN   ALL   OTHER   SHIFT   LEVER   POSITIONS PRELIMINARY   TROUBLESHOOTING.   Organizational   maintenance   determined: Proper   voltages   were   present   at   vehicle   harness   connector   at transmission. Step  1. With   master   switch   at   OFF,   disconnect   vehicle   harness   connector   from transmission.   Perform   resistance   checks   to   ground   (Pin   H)   and solenoid   A   (Forward   Range).   Pin   designation   matches   actuating solenoid   A.   Resistance   reading   must   be   60-80   ohms. a b. Step a. b. c. If   solenoid   resistance   is   normal,   replace   control   valve   assembly   in accordance   with   para.   4-5   and   go   to   Step   3. If   solenoid   resistance   at   pin   A   is   outside   of   specified   limits,   go   to   Step   2. 2.   Troubleshoot   transmission   harness   and   solenoid   assembly   to   determine defect   location.   Remove   top   cover   in   accordance   with   para.   4-5. Check   resistance   of   solenoid   A   in   accordance   with   para.   2-5.   Resistance reading   must   be   60-80   ohms If   solenoid   assembly   is   defective,   replace   solenoid   assembly   in   accordance with   para.   4-31   and   go   to   Step   3. If   solenoid   assembly   checks   good,   repair   harness   in   accordance   with   para. 4-31  or  replace  harness  in  accordance  with  para.  4-5  and  go  to  Step  3. 2-6 Para.   2-4
