15. Rotate flywheel (8) counterclockwise, as viewed from the flywheel end, until “1R INJ PORT CLOSE” timing mark
(9) aligns with timing mark (10).
16. Check timing hole in fuel metering pump (6) making sure marked tooth (11) is visible.
17. If marked tooth (11) is not visible, rotate flywheel counterclockwise 360°, as viewed from the flywheel end, until
“1R INJ PORT CLOSE” timing mark (9) aligns with timing mark (10) and marked tooth (11) is visible in timing hole
on injection pump (6).
