TM 9--2815--247--34 INTAKE MANIFOLD REPAIR -- CONTINUED 0032 00 Assembly 1.   Install six intake manifold flanges (7), six new preformed packings (8), six spring washers (9), and six spacer rings (10) onto three intake manifold tubes (4), intake manifold tube (5), and two intake manifold tubes (6). NOTE For left bank, two intake manifold tubes (6) install at cylin- der positions 1L and 3L, three intake manifold tubes (4) at cylinder positions 2L, 4L and 6L, and intake manifold tube (5) at cylinder position 5L. For right bank, intake manifold tube (6) installs at cylinder 1R, three intake manifold tubes (4) at cylinder 2R, 4R and 5R, two intake manifold tubes (3) at cylinder 3R and 6R. Leave 20 screws securing tubes to the intake manifold loose until intake manifold and aftercooler  assembly is installed on engine. This will allow indexing of tubes when installing on the engine. 2.   Install six intake manifold tubes (4, 5 and 6) into intake manifold (3) and secure with 20 screws (1) and 20 new lockwashers (2).
