FUEL INJECTOR NOZZLE AND HOLDER REPAIR -- CONTINUED

Repair
1. Replace nozzle tip (26) when body seat or valve seat is badly worn, pounded, pitted, or when nozzle body orifices
are clogged.
2. Replace nozzle tip (26) when lapped sealing surfaces are nicked, scratched or cracked.
3. Repair of remaining nozzle and holder (3) components is limited to cleaning the threads on the body (6), retainer
(2), and nut (10).
4. It is not practical to attempt repairs to any remaining parts on fuel injector nozzle and holder (3).
5. If inspection revealed damage to any of the remaining parts, replace the complete fuel injector nozzle and holder (3).
