Test -- Continued
2. Check the slip torque of fan drive friction clutch using a torque wrench (3) on fan nut (2). If slip torque is not
25--42 lb--ft. (34--57 NSm) the fan drive friction clutch must be repaired.
3. Remove fan nut (2) and spacer sleeve (1).
Removal
1. Remove plain encased seal (4) and housing (5). Refer to TM 9--2350--292--20.
