Inspection -- Continued
16. Disassemble connecting rod (3), and cap (2), and remove bearings (4 and 5).
17. Check contact of bearings (4 and 5) between rod (3) and cap (2) as shown by Prussian blue transfer. Replace any
bearing that does not make at least 75 percent contact.
Repair
1. Replace any damaged bolts (13) found during inspection.
2. Replace connecting rod bearings (4 and 5) that do not check within limits specified during inspection and repeat
