WARNING
Hold wrench securely when turning camshaft, as spring
pressure from the valve springs can throw the wrench
from your hand and cause an injury.
NOTE
Be sure adjusting screw swivel pad is not cocked. With a
light, visually check position of adjusting screw swivel pad
through valve lash adjusting access hole.
25. While feeling intake valve adjusting screw swivel pad (73) with finger, reverse the direction of camshaft (83) with a
wrench and apply pressure until valve adjusting screw swivel pad (73) does not move.
