AUTOMATIC FUEL INJECTION ADVANCE CONTROL ASSEMBLY AND
ASSOCIATED PARTS REPAIR -- CONTINUED

Removal -- Continued
NOTE
Bearing cap and accessory housing assembly are
stamped with corresponding numbers to prevent mis--
mating of parts. Cap should be loosely attached on ac-
cessory housing assembly after automatic fuel injection
advance control is removed.
4. Remove six slotted nuts (6) securing automatic fuel injection advance control (7) and rear fan drive shaft assem-
bly (8).
CAUTION
Do not remove automatic fuel injection advance control
until it is secured with lockwire.
5. Install lockwire (9) between spur bevel gearshaft (10) and spur gearshaft (11) to keep components from sliding off
gearshaft.
6. Remove automatic fuel injection advance control (7) and rear fan drive shaft assembly (8) as a unit from accesso-
ry housing assembly (5).
