Remove spring side advance piston hole plug (56, FIGURE 3-45), springs (57 and 58), and spring guide (59),
refer to FIGURE 3-60.

Remove two preformed packings (60 and 61, FIGURE 3-45) from hole plug (56). If damaged, remove set screw
(62), rubber seal ring (63), and nut (64) from hole plug (56).

Remove power side advance piston hole plug (65) and power piston (66), refer to FIGURE 3-61.
NOTE
Sides of housing, just above advance boss, bear a 'C' marking to denote pump rotation. Power
side of piston (66, FIGURE 3-45) is located in side of housing which is marked with letter
indicating rotation.
