Disconnect hook clip (Figure 5-2).

Remove throttle shaft assembly (4), throttle lever fork (5), O-ring seal (6) spacer washer (7), and
spacer (8). Discard O-ring seal and spacer washer.

Remove damper barrel (9), damper piston (10), and damper spring (11).

Remove droop control locking cap (12) using one wrench to hold control rod guide (16) while
another wrench is used to loosen droop control locking cap, refer to Figure 5-3.
