SECTION I. GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1. SCOPE.

This manual is for your use in operating and maintaining the Power Plants AN/MJQ-1612 and AN/MJQ-1632

(figure 1-1 and figure 1-2). The manual covers operating instructions and operator, unit, and direct support

maintenance requirements for the power plant. It also contains a Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL)

for the power plant. The power plant AN/MJQ-1612 consists of two 60 kW 50/60 Hz Tactical Quiet Generator

sets, a switch box, and a cable storage box. The AN/MJQ-1632 consists of two 60KW 400 Hz Tactical Quiet

Generator sets, a switch box, and a cable storage box.
