WARNING
Retaining rings are spring tension devices: take care when removing
or installing them. They can slip or break and become airborne
causing eye damage or other bodily harm.
27. Remove inner retaining ring (62) and separate solenoid control housing (44) from solenoid
housing (12). Discard retaining ring.
28. Remove solenoid housing (12) with plain encased seal (63) from straight shaft (16).
29. Remove and discard plain encased seal (63) from solenoid housing (12).
30. Remove inner retaining ring (64) and flat washer (65) securing solenoid control housing (44)
to straight shaft (16). Discard retaining ring.
seal (67), from straight shaft (16).
32. Remove plain encased seal (67) and two needle bearings (66) from solenoid control
housing (44). Discard seal and bearings.
