CAUTION
Install grooved side of thrust bearings away from housing. The steel backing against cast
iron housing will keep thrust bearings from turning. Incorrect installation will result in
excessive wear and increased end play, which causes early failure of the accessory drive
housing assembly.
NOTE
Apply a thin coat of OE/HDO 10 lubricating oil to parts listed in steps 20 and 21 prior to
installation on accessory drive housing.
