TM 9--2815--247--34 0037 00--9 FUEL INJECTOR TUBES, BRACKETS, AND ASSOCIATED PARTS -- CONTINUED 0037 00 Installation -- Continued CAUTION Overtightening will damage the compression sleeve and cause fuel leaks. Overtightening the tube nut can frac- ture the sleeve and result in injector tube failure at this location. Tube assemblies must be visually aligned between the bolt holes on the cylinder head mounting brackets. Hold the lines in this aligned position while torquing the tube fittings at the pump end of the lines. c.   Using crowfoot attachment, tighten tube fitting (70) to 35 lb--ft (48 NSm). d.   Tighten tube nut (68) to 125 lb--in (14 NSm). e.   Attach tube adapter (69) and tube nut (68) to the nozzle and holder, finger tight. 4.   Apply a small amount of lubricant (item 12, WP 0100 00) to 12 fan tower studs (71). 5.   Install double--angle brackets (13, 5, 6, 7, and 8) using ten new self--locking nuts (65). 6.   Tighten ten self--locking nuts (65) to 150--175 lb--in (17--20 NSm).
