Inspection -- Continued
23. Remove the main bearing caps (10 and 11) and bearing halves (4, 5, 6, and 7). Refer to WP 0064 00.
24. Inspect the contact surfaces (24 and 25) as indicated by Prussian blue transfer. Replace bearings that do not
make 75 percent contact with bearing bores. Recheck new bearings.
