Inspect keystone rings (1 and 2), compression ring (3) and oil ring (4) for scuffing, scorching, chipping, scratches or abrasions. NOTE Pay particular attention to those rings which were found to be sticking in the piston grooves. 11. Measure the outside width of intermediate compression ring (3) and oil control ring (4).
